in a crimanal cases you have the right to face an accuser do protective services not have to allow this? Are child protective services cases different then crimanal cases in relation to facing your accuser?
Child cases are different because facing the accuser may do more harm to the child psychologically if seen face to face. As a child I had to go to court and testify against a man, and when it came time, they removed him from the courtroom because I had told them before that he had threatened my life. I thought that the next time I would see him I was going to die. Usually if it is requested that the child not see that person a judge can make it work. Are child protective services cases different then crimanal cases in relation to facing your accuser?
It depends on individual circumstances.....
when you go to trial you will face your accuser unless the witness is so young that the judge allows the small child to testify by closed circuit TV
