well I don;t know the answer but I will help you spell it correctly so you can look it up online, OK?
Preliminary hearing (meaning the first one to have all the cards put on the table so everyone knows what's going on, I think) , and then there is the judicial hearing (coming from the word justice). Hope this helps.
