Trials/court cases why not photos but can draw them?

Why are they allowed to draw the trial but not take photos?Trials/court cases why not photos but can draw them?
The simple answer is that most trials are considered as controversial in nature. So by allowing photographer inside the court room it will disrupt the proceedings the normal way, that is why they only allowed to draw the trial by pencil and paper those people comprising the event esp. minors and those under the government custody for witness protection program, whose lives are under threat by goons or government men.

The trial should be as quiet and in orderly fashion rather than be like in a public market wherein people comes in and out of the court house. These people esp. the lawyers on both sides deliverate arguement that would either seal the fate of their client ,put them in jail or the court set them free. So for the client it is a matter of life and death that is why it is much better as quietly as possible inside the court house and no flashing light in every corner from photographer. Besides those person who take sketches inside the court room are very vivid in nature.Trials/court cases why not photos but can draw them?
Photographers are more distracting than someone sitting in a corner with a sketch pad.
Because that is what the judge has ruled.

Normal drawings are allowed and not photos. A judge can forbid drawings, especially of minors.
