..a species?

A) The species reproduces only asexually

B) The species reproduces only sexually

C) The species' reproductive cycle is unpredictable

D) The species usually reproduces asexually, but can reproduce sexually when conditions become unfavorable.

E) The species has a relatively long reproductive cycle.Which of the following cases would a mutation have the most significant impact on the genetic diversity of...?
actually the answer would be A.

Because when u reproduce asexually u only have one set of chromosome which in this case is mutated and u are reproducing with mutated genes. However when u reproduce sexually u have t pairs of chromosomes, one from mom and from from dad, so if one is mutated u have the back up from the other parent. so the most significant impact would be asexually which u do not have any back up genes :)Which of the following cases would a mutation have the most significant impact on the genetic diversity of...?
B. The species reproduces only sexually.
