Have there been any cases of people being pronounced medically brain dead regaining all function?

the chances are VERY unlikely. there are few cases where they regain back all functionsHave there been any cases of people being pronounced medically brain dead regaining all function?
The answer to any question like that is typically yes because ';medically brain dead'; is a definition AND doctors are human and make mistakes. The more compelling question is can a person, once brain dead, able to regain all function? The answer is no, because the brain controls most functions.Have there been any cases of people being pronounced medically brain dead regaining all function?
the brain is an unpredictable organ, not sure why some people wake up and some don't. it really depends on why the person became brain dead and how long they went without oxygen, lots of variables make it hard to predict, just hope and pray for the best
I've never heard of a case. Those who have posted ';yes'; are invited to submit links to case reports.
