Has the been any cases of a mother having MORE THEN 8 babies (octuplets) at once?

ya i rlly think its physically impossible.

poor mother :Has the been any cases of a mother having MORE THEN 8 babies (octuplets) at once?
|Depends on your definition of ';having';. Someone has had nine babies, but none survived. I'd suspect there have been cases of even more babies conceived and miscarried early, but there's probably no way you'd know.Has the been any cases of a mother having MORE THEN 8 babies (octuplets) at once?
The only way you can concieve that many is with either AI or fertility drugs.
The most babies a woman can have without fertility drugs, is, I think, five (quintuplets). Any more than that requires fertility drugs.
There have been eight reported cases of nonuplets (nine) but none of those babies lived more than 6 days.

According to Wikipedia, there have been cases of human pregnancies that started out with ten, eleven, twelve or fifteen fetuses, but no instances of live births.

And according to this site: http://www3.telus.net/tyee/multiples/oct鈥?/a>

decaplets (ten babies) is the highest that have ever been born in history (in 1924, 1936 %26amp; 1946) . While higher multiples have been conceived, only ten babies were carried long enough to be born.
Yes it IS possible to have more than 8. Maria Dossledorf gave birth to 12 children in an eastern province of the Ukraine in 1947. There was one case in 1912 of a lady that birthed 9 children and another case in the 1800s where a lady delivered 15 NONE of the children survived. The record for the most to survive a birth is currently 9.
