Does anyone know how to research court cases?

There are many free case searches available at findlaw.com. Lexis.com and Westlaw.com have charged searches available. Of course, law libraries are available in many cities and are free to the public. And you can always hire a lawyer to research the issue for you.Does anyone know how to research court cases?
