Can xbox 360 motherboards be transfered to pc cases?

when the original xbox was out, i saw alot of xbox motherboards and drives moded into people custom pc cases, i havent seen any on the 360 though, is there something stoping this from happening?Can xbox 360 motherboards be transfered to pc cases?
The original Xbox had a Pentium processor, the Xbox 360 has custom PowerPC and not Intel processing (so Windows and other operating systems designed for x86 architecture like Linux etc. will not run on it).





So it's pretty pointless putting non-PC architecture into a PC when it will not run as one.
